Job Overview:

We're looking for a creative and skilled
2D & 3D Animator
to join our content team. The ideal candidate has experience producing high-quality animations for
storytelling, campaigns, news, and political content
. You should be fluent in animation tools, strong in storytelling, and able to visualize complex ideas through engaging visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality
    2D and 3D animations
    for videos, explainers, social media, and digital campaigns.
  • Work with scriptwriters and creative directors to turn ideas into animated stories.
  • Design characters, scenes, and transitions that align with political or social themes.
  • Handle end-to-end animation production — from storyboarding to final rendering.
  • Integrate visual effects, motion graphics, typography, and audio where needed.
  • Ensure animations are culturally relevant, sensitive, and aligned with the message.
  • Adapt visual style based on project type — from satire to educational to emotional narratives.

Must-Have Skills:

2D Animation Tools:

  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Animate / Flash
  • Toon Boom Harmony
  • Photoshop (for frame-by-frame animation)

3D Animation Tools:

  • Autodesk Maya / 3ds Max
  • Blender
  • Cinema 4D (optional)
  • Experience with rigging, lighting, and rendering

Other Skills:

  • Strong understanding of
    animation principles
    (timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, etc.)
  • Storyboarding and visual storytelling
  • Knowledge of rendering pipelines and file optimization
  • Basic compositing and VFX (preferred)
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred (but not mandatory):

  • Experience working on
    political or social issue-based content
  • Background in media, news, or campaign design
  • Knowledge of Indian political landscape (regional + national)
  • Ability to animate in regional languages (e.g.,Tamil) is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a professional animation role
  • Strong portfolio/demo reel is
    required
