Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced
    ERPNext Developer
    skilled in the
    Frappe Framework
    to build and maintain digital tools supporting our operations and fundraising ecosystems across India.
  • You will customize and optimize ERPNext modules to meet internal needs and ensure smooth upgrades and integrations across systems.
  • Internal needs will include: CRM, Books / Accounting, Invoicing & Billing, Human Resources (HRMS) – Assets Management, Helpdesk / Support, Website & eCommerce, Reports & Dashboards, Workflow Automation, Integrations – Payment gateways, email, SMS, API/webhooks, Website Analytics & A/B Testing, Social Media Management Email Marketing & Campaign, live chat.

Key Responsibilities

ERPNext Customization & Development

  • Design, develop, and customize ERPNext modules based on organizational requirements.
  • Create custom apps and integrations within the Frappe Framework.
  • Implement new workflows, forms, and reports aligned with program needs.
  • Maintain existing ERPNext customizations during version upgrades.

Integration & Automation

  • Integrate ERPNext with external tools (payment gateways, telephony, volunteer platforms, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and automation scripts.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize user experience and data flow.

Testing, Documentation & Support

  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and quality assurance for all deployments.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and version control (Git).
  • Provide technical support and training to internal users.

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in
    ERPNext
    and
    Frappe Framework
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    ,
    JavaScript
    ,
    Jinja
    , and
    SQL
    .
  • Strong understanding of ERPNext architecture, DocTypes, hooks, and APIs.
  • Experience working on live ERPNext implementations.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment practices.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in modules such as HR, CRM, Accounting, or Fundraising.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
  • API integrations with CRMs, donor systems, or communication tools.
  • Prior experience in nonprofit or social-impact technology projects.
