Role & responsibilities

  • Overall supervision and management of nursing activities in the CTVS Operation Theatre.
  • Ensure readiness of OT for elective and emergency cardiac and vascular surgeries.
  • Allocate duties, prepare duty rosters, and supervise OT nursing staff.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and NABH standards.
  • Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, perfusionists, and OT technicians.
  • Monitor availability, sterility, and proper handling of OT instruments and consumables.
  • Maintain OT nursing documentation, checklists, and reports.
  • Handle emergency OT situations and ensure patient safety.

Preferred candidate profile

  • B.Sc Nursing / GNM (Registered Nurse).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in CTVS Operation Theatre.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of cardiac OT procedures and NABH protocols preferred.
