Role & responsibilities

  • Property Valuation: Scrutinize and assess property valuations and technical scrutiny reports for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

  • Technical Due Diligence: Identify shortcomings and errors in valuation reports and technical due diligence.

  • Market Value Assessment: Consider obsolescence or depreciation factors while determining property market value.

  • Policy Development: Create and update technical policies and process notes, including a defined deviation matrix.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal collateral management policies and regulatory guidelines.

  • Vendor Management: Manage valuation vendors and oversee the vendor empanelment process.

  • Turnaround Time: Ensure compliance with benchmark turnaround times for property valuations.

  • Site Visits: Conduct property visits for sample and exception cases to ensure detailed due diligence

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Civil Engineering.

  • Experience: Over 5 years of experience in technical due diligence of property markets.

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage properties and market dynamics.

  • Skills: Excellent analytical, managerial, and communication skills.

  • This role typically involves significant travel and requires a deep understanding of property valuation and mortgage processes
