Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven
Travel Sales Consultant
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting with clients, understanding their travel needs, and expertly selling customized travel packages, flights, accommodation, and related services. This role is a perfect fit for a proactive individual who excels at building rapport and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Consultation:
  • Consult with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and desired experiences.
  • Design, present, and sell customized, complex travel itineraries including domestic and international flights, accommodation, car rentals, tours, and insurance.
  • Proactively follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into confirmed bookings and achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Customer Service & Booking:
  • Provide exceptional, personalized customer service throughout the entire booking process, from initial inquiry to post-travel follow-up.
  • Accurately process bookings, payments, and issue necessary travel documents (tickets, confirmations, vouchers).
  • Manage and resolve client issues, amendments, or cancellations efficiently and professionally.
  • Product Knowledge & Administration:
  • Stay current with travel trends, destination information, airline regulations, and supplier product updates.
  • Utilize GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and/or other booking software to search, quote, and book travel arrangements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client records and sales reports in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a
    sales-focused role
    within the travel industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of major international and domestic destinations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
