Project Manager – ELV/IBMS Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
with a strong consultancy-oriented mindset to lead and oversee Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) Projects. The ideal candidate will bring 8–10 years of relevant expertise, with a focus on industries such as aviation, transportation, or similarly complex sectors. This role involves direct deployment to project sites to provide oversight with a professional, consultant's outlook, ensuring efficient project execution and alignment with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee ELV/IBMS project execution, acting as a client-focused consultant and ensuring high-quality delivery across all project phases.
• Lead project teams to plan, implement, and monitor progress while maintaining alignment with budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, offering consultancy-driven solutions tailored to industry-specific challenges, especially in aviation, transport, and related sectors.
• Conduct comprehensive site reviews, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and provide on-site leadership to resolve issues swiftly.
• Provide advisory support to clients and stakeholders, sharing insights on industry best practices, compliance standards, and innovative solutions.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies, ensuring seamless communication among all project participants.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies while monitoring overall project performance.
• Manage the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, lighting control, and structured cabling and ensuring seamless integration of various IBMS components and monitor system performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and reporting. Driving regular project meetings and provide progress updates to all relevant parties.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in ELV/BMS project management, preferably within the aviation, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure domains.
• Strong understanding of ELV/BMS systems, including their design, installation, commissioning, and integration.
• Proven ability to adopt a consultancy-driven approach in managing projects, fostering trust and long-term relationships with clients.
• Advanced leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) will be a Plus.
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in aviation and transportation sectors.
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD or Revit for design coordination.
