Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant DevOps Engineer
In this role, we are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native environments that ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our applications.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating and optimizing our software development, deployment, and infrastructure processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and IT operations, to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of software products.
Responsibilities

•    Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)\: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.

•    Infrastructure Automation\: Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.

•    Configuration Management\: Implement configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate the setup and maintenance of servers and applications.

•    Monitoring and Alerting\: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and system outages.

•    Containerization\: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to enable efficient application deployment and scaling.

•    Security\: Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and ensure the security of infrastructure and applications.

•    Collaboration\: Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide DevOps support throughout the development lifecycle.

•    Performance Optimization\: Identify performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure and applications and optimize system performance for better efficiency and scalability.

•    Disaster Recovery and Backup\: Design and implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and system resilience.

•    Documentation\: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications we seek in you

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

•    Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer.

•    Must have AWS Professional-Level Certification

•    Experience documenting technical requirements.

•    Proficient at multitasking and proactive in work responsibilities.
Preferred qualifications 

•    Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

•    Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

•    Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

•    Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

•    Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or Bash).

•    Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and repository management tools.

•    Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

•    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

•    Experience in microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.

•    Familiarity with security tools and practices for DevSecOps implementation.

•    Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
