Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Conduct trainings as per schedule and safety themes.
  • Facilitate monthly Safety Apex Committee meetings.
  • Maintain R&P (Rules & Procedures) tracker.
  • Conduct monthly Safety Interaction (SI) sessions.
  • Update safety dashboards and steering reports.
  • Organize Safety R&R programs and town halls.
  • Monitor permit systems for proper issuance and closure.
  • Conduct routine equipment and facility inspections.
  • Perform daily plant rounds to identify unsafe acts/conditions.
  • Ensure vehicle safety in shipping areas.
  • Celebrate safety days/weeks to raise awareness.
  • Conduct inductions for new hires, visitors, and contractors.
  • Enforce VBL safety standards with pillar heads.
  • Conduct and ensure compliance with internal and external safety audits.
  • Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.
  • Report, investigate, document incidents.
  • Prepare monthly safety progress reports for management.
  • Monitor safety permit systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with plant and regional safety managers for critical activities and approvals.
  • Coordinate with the plant team to ensure smooth and safe operations and advise management on safety terms.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Experience- 4yrs

Education- B.Sc/M.Sc & *Diploma in ADIS Pass out)
