Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Estimation Engineer to join our team at STRUZON TECHNOLOGIES in Coimbatore. This is a full-time position that requires 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for projects, with a critical role in ensuring the company's continued success and growth in the Design industry.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in cost estimation to evaluate project costs accurately and ensure competitive pricing. (Mandatory skill)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and estimate calculations. (Mandatory skill)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. (Mandatory skill)
  • Experience in tender documentation to prepare and organize necessary tender documents for project bidding.
  • Skill in bid analysis for evaluating and comparing competitive bids from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with construction management to effectively oversee project timelines and resources.
  • Competence in quantity takeoff to accurately calculate quantities needed for projects to avoid discrepancies.
  • Expertise in construction planning to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to timeline objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project requirements and using standardized estimation methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project scopes and client requirements.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to inform accurate project estimates.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tender proposals and related documentation.
  • Conduct bid analysis to ensure the selection of the most competitive and feasible options.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to align estimation processes with project goals.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of estimates and project documents for future reference and audits.
  • Provide support during client negotiations by offering detailed insights into cost implications and possible adjustments.
