*JD and key skills for compressor Team Leader*

Operation:

• Operate HT and LT compressors as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Monitor parameters like pressure, temperature, current, and vibration.
• Start-up and shutdown of compressors in safe condition.

• Maintain required air pressure and flow for plant operations.

• Maintenance:

• Carry out routine preventive and predictive maintenance of HT & LT compressors.

• Check oil level, air filters, and cooling system regularly.
• Replace worn-out parts, belts, and bearings as required.

• Maintain records of maintenance schedules and activities.

• Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose faults related to mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

• Rectify breakdowns in minimum time to avoid production loss.

• Identify recurring problems and suggest corrective actions.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety standards and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.

• Ensure all compressors are operating within safe limits (pressure, temperature, voltage).

• Report any unsafe condition or incident immediately.

• Documentation:

• Maintain logbooks for compressor running hours, maintenance, and downtime.

• Prepare daily and monthly reports on compressor performance.
• Maintain records of spare parts, PM schedules, and breakdown history.
