Job Description: Business Analyst – Business Change Management & Decommissioning

Location: Mumbai (Work From Office) Experience: 5+ Years Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Business Change Management and decommissioning projects to support enterprise transformation and system rationalization initiatives. The role involves analyzing processes, managing change impacts, coordinating decommissioning activities, and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes or systems.

Key Responsibilities

Business Change Management

  • Support planning and execution of business change initiatives, including communications, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Conduct impact assessments for process, system, or organizational changes.
  • Assist in preparing change management plans and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Decommissioning & Transition

  • Support end-to-end decommissioning projects for legacy systems or processes.
  • Document current processes, dependencies, and critical data for decommissioning.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth closure of processes/systems and minimize operational disruption.

Business Analysis

  • Gather and document business requirements, workflows, and process maps.
  • Analyze gaps, risks, and dependencies related to change and decommissioning initiatives.
  • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, impact assessments, and knowledge transfer documentation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business owners, project managers, and technology teams to drive change adoption.
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and status reporting.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between impacted teams and leadership.

Reporting & Monitoring

  • Track progress of change adoption and decommissioning activities.
  • Maintain dashboards, project documentation, and risk logs for leadership visibility.
  • Identify and escalate issues or blockers proactively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Change Management, or Decommissioning projects.
  • Strong knowledge of business change frameworks, project lifecycle, and process decommissioning methodologies.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, process documentation, and adoption planning.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and meet tight deadlines.
