Associate Consultant

Job Description:

The Associate Consultant will work closely with senior team members to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and support data analytics initiatives. This role involves processing large datasets, performing data analysis, and building dashboards that provide actionable business insights. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex data problems and ensure data quality and reliability.

Additional Requirement:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines ensuring efficient and accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
• Create and support interactive dashboards and visual reports using BI tools.
• Perform data validation and ensure high-quality and accurate data outputs.
• Assist in documenting data processes, architectures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to meet analytics requirements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Mandatory
: 1 to 3 yrs (max) experience in Cloud technology (Azure / AWS) with ETL / data visualization & strong proficiency in SQL, Python, BI tools (Power BI / Tableau), Deep understanding of DWH concepts (star / snowflake, dimensional modeling, SCD)

Soft skill
: Strong problem-solving, clear concise communication, attention to detail, stakeholder collaboration, proactive risk identification.

Role Description:

Associate consultant for data engineering / data analyst role plays a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making by collecting, processing, and analyzing data. This role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, or / and generating actionable insights for business stakeholders. The Associate Consultant works closely with senior consultants and cross-functional teams to implement data solutions aligned with customer's organizational goals.

Role Responsibility:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL / ELT processes to enable seamless data flow from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
• Perform data analysis using SQL, Python, or similar tools to extract meaningful insights that inform business strategies.
• Collaborate with senior data engineers, business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate data pipelines / reports and dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by conducting rigorous data quality checks and validation.
• Assist in the documentation of data processes, architectures, and best practices for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of data solutions in cloud or on-premise environments.
• Stay updated with emerging data engineering and analytics trends, suggesting improvements to current workflows.

Role Requirement:

• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python or R.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, snowflake or BI tools like Power BI, Tableau.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience or internship in data analysis or engineering roles is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
