About the Role

The Technical Architect will work closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and convert them into technical specifications that fulfill the business objectives and align with their long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with development teams to ensure that everyone shares the same understanding of project goals and objectives.
• Thorough comprehension of the project's technical facets including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Responsible for designing solutions that meet the client's business requirements, ensuring that the architecture is scalable, secure, and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Provide recommendations on solution architecture, implementation approach, and deployment options.
• Work on performance engineering activities in the project including planning, setup/testing oversight, and application, interfaces, and database tuning.
• Provide guidance to project teams on knowledge of relevant quality, process, and architectural frameworks and planning/reuse tools to improve technical quality and productivity of the project.
• Work with project teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and rollout methods during build, deployment, and support.
• Perform comparative analysis of multiple products, frameworks, and technologies to define technological solutions in a pursuit.
• Anchor PoC development to validate proposed technical solution/mitigate technical risk.
• Provide inputs to create technology and architectural frameworks.
• Anchor presentations to customers showcasing thought leadership.
• Wherever relevant, coordinate tasks with team members, set goals and targets, review output, and give performance-based feedback to ensure that the deliverables are as per the required standards.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team, ensuring that the solution is implemented in a way that meets the architectural design.
• Analyze complex technical problems and deliver solutions that meet the client's requirements.
• Identify technical risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
• Conduct a comparative analysis of various products, frameworks, and technologies to determine the most suitable technological solution for a pursuit.
• Supervise the execution and testing of the solution, ensuring that it is delivered according to the schedule, within the allocated budget, and fulfills the client's expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
• At least 12 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in architecting resilient cloud-native solutions and deep understanding of cloud computing technologies.
• 3 years of experience mentoring junior engineers.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good experience in architecting, designing, implementing solutions built using Angular/ReactJS, .NET CORE, C#, ASPNET MVC, Entity Framework, ADO .Net, Web API, .Net Core, Restful architecture.
• Experience in designing event-driven/domain-driven Microservices.
• Good experience in designing relational databases preferably using SQL Server, no-SQL databases using MongoDB/CosmosDB/Elastic Search.
• Good experience in caching tech like Couchbase or Redis.
• Good experience in Event Driven and Messaging platforms like Azure Pub/Sub, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, etc.
• Working experience in monitoring, logging, and orchestration of Docker applications running on Kubernetes in the cloud, preferably Azure.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
