Role Overview

We are seeking a diligent, reliable, and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in Gandhinagar. In this role, you'll support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and collaborate on reporting, compliance, and audits. Key Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions and maintain general ledgers
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Process incoming and outgoing invoices; ensure all billing is accurate and timely
  • Reconcile bank statements and verify that journal entries match
  • Support monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Assist with budgeting, audits, and preparation of documentation
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices
  • Help with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings
  • Handle cash payments and petty cash reconciliations
  • Work as a team player and support ad-hoc finance tasks as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent)
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting / finance experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with accounting software (Tally or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of Indian accounting principles and taxation laws (GST, TDS)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance domain
