Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE) environments.Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.Administer Linux services such as Apache/Nginx, SSH, Samba, and cron jobs.

Operations & MaintenanceMonitor system performance and availability using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.Apply patches, updates, and security fixes across Windows and Linux servers.Perform routine backups, disaster recovery planning, and restore testing

.Cloud & MigrationSupport migration of workloads from on-premises to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Configure hybrid environments integrating Windows/Linux servers with cloud services.Re-architect legacy applications for cloud-native deployment.

Security & ComplianceImplement OS-level security hardening, firewall rules, and access controls.Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).Collaborate with InfoSec teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enforce policies.

Automation & DevOpsAutomate system provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or PowerShell DSC.Integrate OS management into CI/CD pipelines.Develop scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to streamline operations

.CollaborationWork closely with network engineers, cloud architects, and application teams.Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users.Document system configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
