A skilled professional responsible for configuring, programming, and integrating smart home systems including lighting, audio-video, HVAC, security, access control, and shading solutions. Ensures seamless automation experiences tailored to client needs with precise coding, customization, and testing.

Responsibilities

Program and configure home automation platforms (Crestron, Savant, RTI, AMX, KNX, etc.).

Develop and upload custom drivers, interfaces, and logic for various devices.

Design automation workflows and conditional logic for lighting, HVAC, AV, security, and IoT systems.

Integrate third-party devices (smart locks, sensors, cameras, thermostats, etc.) into centralized control.

Troubleshoot, and optimize automation code for smooth system performance.

Provide remote and on-site support for service calls and system updates.

Maintain detailed documentation of system configuration and programming files.

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in home automation platforms (Control4, Dali, KNX, Lutron, etc.).

Strong knowledge of AV distribution, networking, and IP-based systems.

Problem-solving and analytical thinking for system debugging.

Ability to read electrical/AV wiring diagrams.

Strong client communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
  • 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in smart home or automation programming.
  • Certification in relevant platforms (Control4 Certified Programmer, KNX Partner, etc.) is an advantage.
