Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing excellent service. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and tidy environment, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
  • Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing as needed.
  • Assist with cooking and meal preparation when required, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
  • Experience in a hotel setting is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Cooking skills are desirable to assist with meal preparation as needed.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
