In this role, the BA will plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for supporting the development process, and ensuring that project deliverables are met according to specifications. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsMeets with executive leadership, decision makers, business owners, technical owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issuesCollaborates with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and visionIdentifies project stakeholders and establish roles and responsibilities (process owners, change champions, etc.)Conducts interviews and product analysis to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methodsDevelops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirement specificationsTranslates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project teamDevelops prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on findingsAnalyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standardsIdentifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis in order to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actionsWorks with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirementsCreates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project teamDevelops and conducts peer reviews to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpretedManages and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle;
