Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Kotlin Tech Lead to design, build, and deliver high-quality e-commerce Android applications from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Jetpack Compose UI, Kotlin, Android Studio, and mandatory AI exposure in the context of Android development (e.g., Gemini AI, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools). You will lead a team of Android developers, make key architectural decisions, and ensure delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor an Android development team, ensuring code quality, scalability, and high performance.
  • Architect and build e-commerce Android applications from scratch, following clean code and SOLID principles.
  • Develop modern UI using Jetpack Compose and adhere to Material Design guidelines.
  • Apply your AI exposure in Android development contexts to guide innovation and future-ready design.
  • Oversee the full development lifecycledesign, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers for seamless feature delivery.
  • Optimize app performance for speed, battery life, and responsiveness.
  • Stay current with Android development trends, AI advancements, and industry best practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Android Studio.
  • Jetpack Compose UI framework experience in production apps.
  • Proven experience building e-commerce Android apps from scratch.
  • Mandatory AI exposure in Android developmentGemini AI, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted tools.
  • Deep understanding of Android SDK, MVVM/MVP/MVI patterns, and REST API integration.
