We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled
SAP Support Specialist
with
hands-on configuration experience
to support and enhance our SAP S4 HANA system in a manufacturing environment. This role will involve providing day-to-day support for SAP users, troubleshooting functional issues, and performing basic to intermediate configuration in modules such as
MM, SD, PP
,
PS and PM

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, SAP integration points, and experience working closely with both IT teams and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP modules, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of user-reported issues.
  • Perform hands-on configuration and minor enhancements in SAP modules (e.g., , MM, SD, PP, PM and PS).
  • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Document functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, or reports.
  • Participate in system testing, change management, and deployment of SAP patches or upgrades.
  • Work on process improvement initiatives and optimize SAP system functionality in alignment with business goals.
  • Liaise with external consultants or SAP Basis teams for system issues or enhancements beyond internal scope.
  • Conduct user training and develop training materials as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of SAP experience, including at least 1–2 years in hands-on configuration.
  • Strong functional knowledge in at least one SAP module (MM, SD, PP, PM and PS).
  • Understanding of manufacturing business processes (e.g., production orders, goods movement, procurement and sales cycles).
  • Basic understanding of SAP integration across modules.
  • Experience working with end users and translating business needs into SAP solutions.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to
    SAP S/4HANA
    is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and modern UI features.
  • Experience with custom reports, enhancements (user exits, BADIs), or workflow triggers.
  • Knowledge of transport management and change request handling.
  • Prior experience in discrete or process manufacturing industry.
