• Ensure all training is compliant with OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
• Mentor and guide junior operators, providing feedback and support to improve their skills.
• Stay updated on new equipment and safety best practices to update training materials as needed.
• Assist in the maintenance of training equipment and facilities.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to identify training needs and improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a certified forklift operator.
• Strong knowledge of different types of forklifts, their operation, and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
• Deep understanding of warehouse safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to patiently and effectively communicate complex instructions.
• Attention to detail to ensure trainees meet all safety and operational standards.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology is often preferred.
• Certification in forklift operation is essential.
