Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to join our team. The candidate will work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to understand requirements, prepare test cases, execute manual tests, and contribute to automation scripts. This role is ideal for freshers with strong analytical skills, basic programming knowledge, and an interest in building a career in software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing

  • Understand functional requirements and create detailed test cases and test scenarios.
  • Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Participate in test planning, test execution, and review processes.

Automation Testing

  • Assist in designing and developing automation scripts using frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.
  • Maintain and update existing automation test suites.
  • Understand automation best practices, object locators, and scripting.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze test results.
  • Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) for automated test execution (training will be provided).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle.
  • Basic knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case design.
  • Foundational programming knowledge in Java/Python/JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and API testing (Postman preferred).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and willingness to learn.
