About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Coding Trainer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in training batches across various specialties and possess excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for professionals who thrive in a structured and collaborative environment.
Specialties Required:
We are hiring trainers with experience in one or more of the following specialties:
- IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis Related Groups)
- E/M (Evaluation and Management)
- ED (Emergency Department)
- Radiology
- Interventional Radiology
- Anesthesia
- Medicine
- Home Health Coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for batches of medical coders.
- Develop and update training materials aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in medical coding and training.
- Proven track record of handling batches independently.
- Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred.
