Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
QA Engineer / Software Tester
to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our applications through comprehensive testing and analysis. The candidate should have strong experience in performing various types of testing, API validation, analyzing logs for error tracking, and using collaboration tools like
JIRA
and
GitHub
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end
    testing activities
    across multiple functional areas to ensure product stability and adherence to requirements.
  • Conduct
    API validation and verification
    to ensure accurate data flow and system integration.
  • Analyze
    application logs
    to identify, trace, and report errors or performance issues.
  • Log, track, and manage defects using
    JIRA
    , ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams through
    GitHub
    for issue tracking and version control.
  • Review functional and technical requirements to design and execute
    test cases and test scenarios
    .
  • Participate in
    regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
    to ensure software quality across releases.
  • Support release cycles by validating builds, performing sanity checks, and ensuring production readiness.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in performing various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and UAT.
  • Proficiency in
    API testing
    (using tools like Bruno or equivalent).Ability to analyze and interpret
    system logs
    to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Proficient in
    JIRA
    for bug tracking and project management.Working knowledge of
    GitHub
    for collaboration and version control.
  • Good understanding of
    SDLC
    and
    STLC
    processes.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to automation or performance testing tools (optional).
