Job Description Core Java Lead

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Location: Gurugram

Work Mode: Work from Office 3 days a week (subject to change to 5 days as per client policy)

Mandatory Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8+)
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
  • Microservices architecture – design, development, and integration
  • Strong knowledge of SQL / Database programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, and delivery of Core Java applications with high performance and scalability.
  • Work on Microservices-based architecture for distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, DevOps) to deliver business solutions.
  • Write, optimize, and review efficient SQL queries to support application requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, design patterns, and architecture principles.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, estimation, and technical discussions.
  • Mentor team members, review code, and provide technical guidance.
  • Handle production issues, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).

  • Exposure to Financial Services / BFSI domain (preferred but not mandatory).
