About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, and performing complex testing tasks. Your contributions will directly impact our product's success and our customers' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain comprehensive test plans that align with project goals and timelines.
  • Test Design : Create detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Test Execution : Execute manual and automated test cases, perform regression testing, and report defects with clear and concise documentation.
  • Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Test Environment Setup : Configure and maintain test environments to ensure test readiness and consistency.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct load, stress, and performance testing to assess system scalability and reliability.
  • Defect Management: Track and manage defects through their lifecycle, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Test Reporting: Prepare and present test status reports, test metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Quality Advocacy: Champion best practices for quality assurance across the organization and mentor junior QA team members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and contribute to enhancing the overall QA process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record of testing complex software systems.
  • Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
