Job Description:

We are looking for a Product Data Manager to manage our data team in the Interior and Furnishing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for making sure all our product information is accurate and reliable. You will ensure our product data, from prices to materials, is consistent for both our internal teams and our customers.

Job Type: Full-time | Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

  • You will record and update all product related detailslike dimensions, prices, and materialsare correct and always up-to-date.
  • Set up and manage the best ways to create, organize, and share our product data.
  • Improve the existing process for adding new product data, from getting it from suppliers to publishing it in our catalogs and on our website.
  • Work with internal team and will be responsible to contact for any questions about product data from our sales, marketing, and design teams. You'll work closely with them to get and check new product information.
  • Check, verify and audit for all the product data to find and fix any errors.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree is required with at least 5-10 years of experience in product data management or a similar role.
  • Very good skill in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word for data management
  • You must be very careful and committed to keeping our data accurate.
  • Need strong verbal and written communication skills to explain data to people who are not technical. You should also be fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi, as we work with clients across India.
  • It is a plus if you understand product details specific to the furnishing and interior design industries, like different types of finishes, materials, and upholstery.
  • Good mindset to improve processes for good data management.

Preferred candidate profile:

** Any graduate with 5-10 years experience who is very good in managing Product Catalogs with Code, price and design search function to help internal teams and clients for searching and getting right codes for customer requirements for quotation and order placements.

** Person who can automate the Product Data Management in excel or any tools would be more preferrable.
