Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Sales Executive with experience or interest in mechanical and electronics manufacturing. The candidate will handle lead generation, client communication, payment follow-up, field visits, back-office sales coordination, and tele-calling. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Lead Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in relevant industrial sectors.
- Generate leads through field visits, tele-calling, industrial networks, and online platforms.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions/products.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and technical discussions.
2. Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Maintain regular communication through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Share quotations, proposals, and follow up on enquiries to close deals.
- Build long-term relationships to increase repeat business.
3. Payment Follow-Up & Commercial Coordination
- Track outstanding payments and conduct prompt follow-ups with clients.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for payment reconciliation and ledger updates.
- Prepare proforma invoices, quotations, and commercial documents.
- Highlight payment delays/risks to management in a timely manner.
4. On-Field Sales & Customer Support
- Visit client sites for requirement gathering, relationship building, and product explanations.
- Provide basic on-site support for inspections, sample submissions, and project coordination.
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company offerings.
5. Back-Office Sales Coordination
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, order follow-up sheets, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, logistics, and QC teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Maintain CRM entries, enquiry records, and follow-up status.
- Assist management in preparing monthly sales forecasts.
6. Tele-Calling & Follow-Ups
- Conduct outbound calls for lead generation and follow-ups.
- Explain product features and convert enquiries into meetings or sales opportunities.
- Follow up on quotations, samples, and pending decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related fields.
- 0–3 years of experience in industrial/technical sales (freshers with good communication can apply).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering components (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), email drafting, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness for field visits and travel as per requirement.
