Technical Incharge

Objectives of the Role:

• To assist the Manufacturing In-charge in managing all engineering & maintenance activities in plant premises.
• To assist Manufacturing In-charge in driving new projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the plant head/Manufacturing in charge and responsible for maintenance of plant equipments
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturers instructions and established procedures; and requesting special services.
• Generate downtime analysis log and maintain history for all equipments.
• To attend breakdown in bottling, blending & utility areas.
• Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
• Maintain records for AMC in terms of service reports, spare consumption & renewals.
• Extend support to all departments in running smooth plant operations.
• Monitor closely spare consumption & maintain inventory for critical spare.
• Manage & maintain records for pressure vessel testing.
• Manage & maintain fire hydrant system.
• Thoroughly study the engineering aspect of given project & prepare technical documentation.
• Project proposal preparation.
• Supervise the site execution activities involving civil / mechanical related work.

Experience:

• 3+ years of hands on work experience in the Process/Chemical industry involving Process Engineering and Project Engineering activities.
• A target oriented and self-driven individual with a high sense of achievement to accomplish departmental and self-goals.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Ability to understand AutoCAD drawings.
• Basic Knowledge Electrical & safety.
• Analytical thinking for troubleshooting of issues.
• Hands on experience of working on shop floor.
• Manage electrician & fitters shift schedule & work allocation.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Poka Yoke, 5S, ISO 9001, HACCP
