Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented
QA Manual Engineer
with 3 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, test case design, defect tracking, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify test scenarios.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Perform different types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT.
  • Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Maintain and update test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in
    manual testing
    of web, mobile, and/or API-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of
    STLC, SDLC, and defect management lifecycle
    .
  • Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
