Senior Specialist, Resiliency Business Analysis

Our site in Pune, India is seeking a Resiliency Business Analyst to join our team. The Resiliency Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and enhancing our IT business continuity and IT disaster recovery strategies. This role involves enhancing and testing our IT resiliency strategies and frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in business analysis, IT resiliency, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and enterprise level risk management.
What You'll Do:
Resiliency Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Update and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and Major Incident strategies based on analysis findings.
- Manage IT resiliency across multiple regions with different regulations, infrastructure, and risks.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes, work closely with legal and compliance teams, and implement processes to ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
Risk Assessment & Monitoring:
- Evaluate IT continuity plans and playbooks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct enterprise readiness assessments and develop mitigation strategies to enhance resiliency to business disruption risks.
Facilitation of Drills and Real-life Scenarios:
- Support crisis response and critical incident management, including real-time incident assessments, stakeholder coordination, and post-event reviews.
- Maintain detailed response plans and conduct regular resiliency drills.
- Contribute and participate in IT Service Management maturity including but not limited to: Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Major Incident, Problem Management, IT BCP Plans, Resiliency Playbooks, etc.
Continuous Improvement, Policy, Risk, and Audit Review:
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of resiliency processes to ensure they are effective and up to date.
- Identify, measure, and report on maturity against KPIs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on resiliency status and recommendations.
- Continuously assess and mitigate risks to IT systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement solutions.
- Create and Maintain policies that support IT resiliency.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of resiliency plans.
- Assist with runbook collection and storage.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to staff on resiliency best practices and procedures.
Technology Updates:
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance resiliency measures.
- Prepare reports on resiliency metrics such as RTO, RPO, MTTR, system uptime, audit readiness, and service availability, highlighting trends and areas for continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead cross-cultural teams and build consensus across geographically distributed stakeholders.
What We Seek:
Experience:
- Proven track record of supporting and maturing IT resiliency programs.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles, particularly around Configuration Management and Major Incident Management.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, databases, applications, cloud environments, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity using and administering resiliency enabling technology (alerting, reporting and visualization, DR and BCP, monitoring, etc.).
- Understanding of how IT resiliency integrates with manufacturing systems and operational technology (OT) environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, resiliency planning, or risk management.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business continuity or risk management, with exposure to cybersecurity or technology risks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, CBCI, CRMP, etc.)
- Experience with crisis management and incident response.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for business continuity and resilience.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301 and NIST.
