REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Design technical solutions based on structured design requirements.
  • Create 3D CAD models of machine components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Generate detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
  • Support manufacturing of new and modified components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers to:
  • Improve product design.
  • Modify existing parts and update documentation accordingly.
  • Test new or modified components and assemblies.
  • Implement cost reduction measures.
  • Create and maintain product master data in Windchill.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Solid technical background in machine design and/or engineering.
  • Advanced skills in 3D CAD with Autodesk Inventor (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in using  Windchill for design data management.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing methods and design-to-cost principles.
  • Strong experience with ISO GPS standards to ensure unambiguous product specifications.
  • Creativity to provide alternative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Self-reliance and discipline to deliver efficient design outcomes.
