The Basketball Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering structured basketball sessions that develop players' technical skills, fitness, teamwork, and discipline. The role includes coaching players across different age groups, ensuring steady progress through a planned curriculum that includes warm-up, skill training, and cooldown phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging, safe, and progressive training sessions covering dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and game strategies.
  • Organize weekly matches, assess performance, and provide feedback for individual improvement.
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality, and positive behavior among players.
  • Coordinate with the Sports Academy Manager and Facility Manager for equipment, schedules, and reporting.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of basketball equipment and court facilities.
  • Mentor players to build sportsmanship, confidence, and teamwork.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about player progress.
  • Support academy events, tournaments, and promotional sessions when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of coaching experience; certification from BFI/FIBA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Passion for player development and maintaining academy values.
