Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Game Economy Designer, located in Vijayawada. The responsibilities include designing in-game economic systems, creating balance across virtual currencies and resources, and analyzing user behaviors to optimize the game's progression for monetization and engagement. The role will involve collaboration with game designers, developers, and data analysts to develop scalable economic models and mechanics. You will also ensure continuous improvement via testing, feedback, and iteration.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in game design principles, including experience with designing in-game economies, mechanics, and progression systems
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, modeling, and quantitative problem-solving
  • Familiarity with Excel, SQL, or similar tools for building and analyzing economic models
  • Team collaboration skills, alongside strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Knowledge of monetization strategies such as virtual currencies, pricing, and user retention
  • Understanding of player-centered design and user engagement patterns
  • Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Economics, Mathematics, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry or developing free-to-play economies is a plus
