Job Summary:

As a Lead QA Engineer in Software Testing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead a team of QA engineers, develop and implement testing strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 7-12 Years' experience in the software industry with experience in testing.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Identify, document, and manage software defects and issues, working closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve them.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Proven experience in handling testing teams with manual, automation, and performance engineers.

  • Conduct regression testing to ensure ongoing software stability.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging testing trends, and tools.
  • Continuously improve and optimize test processes to enhance software quality.

Qualifications:

  • bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing, and quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications.

  • Experience in the healthcare domain.

  • Knowledge on test automation, performance and load testing.

  • Experience in various Software Development Methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and V-model.

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
