Job Summary:

Optimize fleet and vessel performance using data-driven analysis and AI/ML to monitor efficiency, ensure compliance, coordinate with technical teams, and deliver actionable insights for enhanced sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To generate baseline models for various ship types and onboard them on the platform by capturing data from various vessel manuals.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance vessel performance monitoring tools and analytics workflows.
  • To utilize AI / ML in analyzing Vessel's hull Performance, Machinery performance in monitoring fleet performance.
  • Implement and refine algorithms for accurate analysis of vessel behavior and efficiency.
  • Design and build interactive dashboards to clearly communicate key performance indicators.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and operational anomalies.
  • To coordinate with the Technical Management Team in analyzing their vessel's performance and anomalies in reporting.
  • Translate technical insights into clear, practical recommendations to support decision making through monthly Performance reports for both Vessels and Fleets.
  • Execute ad hoc tasks related to Vessel Performance Management to ensure compliance with emissions regulations.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
  • Minimum 1 year sailing experience as 4th / 3rd Engineer
  • 1-2 years of experience in vessel performance monitoring.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Python for developing various codes related to vessel performance management.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
