RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
  • Provide L1 and L2 support for network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network devices and systems.
  • Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades under supervision.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network faults and performance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with senior network engineers to design and implement network improvements.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and incidents accurately.
  • Support incident management processes by logging and tracking network-related tickets and requests.
  • Assist with network security tasks such as managing access controls, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Participate in network audits and compliance checks.
  • Continuously update knowledge of network technologies, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Hands-on experience supporting L1 and L2 network operations such as incident identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Familiarity with network hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar devices.
  • Knowledge of firewall configurations, VPN technologies, and network security basics.
  • Ability to interpret network diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Basic scripting knowledge for automation (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are preferred but not mandatory.
