Engineering Senior Lead Analyst

The CTI Enterprise Analytics Services (EAS) organization is actively recruiting for an Engineering Sr Lead Analyst. EAS organization provides strategic platforms with Data & Analytics technologies for Citi lines of businesses that are used globally to create business critical applications. The role requires working with engineering & support teams, data owners and data scientist from application teams to support data and analytics projects, identify gaps and add platform features to help with process automation, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and service delivery. The individual in this role will contribute in application architecture, design, and development aspects with focus on delivering end-to-end solutions. The candidate should have prior hands-on experience with building enterprise grade applications using modern technology stacks.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Delivery: Provide technical and architectural vision for a critical automation framework focused on platform and service provisioning. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with the overall organization roadmap. You'll be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from design and analysis to issue management and final delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Architectural Evolution & Innovation: Continuously evaluate and upgrade to industry leading tools and technologies stack to meet future volume demands, architectural changes and modernized. Proactively explore and adopt AI-based solutions to enhance team productivity, accelerate time to market, and maintain a competitive edge.
• Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead and mentor a large development team spread across multiple geo-locations and time zones. You'll skillfully navigate complex stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
• SRE & Cloud Automation: Champion and drive the implementation of robust Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Lead the team in cloud adoption and automation for service provisioning on platforms like GCP, AWS, and OpenAI, including GenAI provisioning (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS).
• Observability & Resiliency: Design and implement a centralized observability solution to automatically collect and consume platform and service utilization metrics. Ensure the framework is built for maximum resiliency, operating on a highly available active/active setup to guarantee 24/7 uptime with no downtime.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in product/framework development, design, and team leadership
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Deep technical expertise in modern microservices architecture and container orchestration using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on proficiency with technology stack, including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, MongoDB, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong experience in implementing and driving SRE practices.
• Knowledge on cloud platforms and experience with provisioning automation on GCP, AWS, and/or OpenAI (GenAI provisioning as IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Ability to explore and integrate AI technologies to improve development processes and time to market.
• Experience in designing and building centralized observability solutions and a solid understanding of metrics collection.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement

Nice to have:

• Experience in large scale data warehouse implementations and knowledge of ETL technologies
• Experience with virtualization and containerization
• Experience in creating Ansible playbooks

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
