About the Team

We are looking for a passionate engineering leader to build a backend system from scratch for a stealth mode fitness startup. The team is led by the founders of and Ex-Oracle engineer. You will be reporting to the founders.

This is an amazing opportunity to be an early engineer in a high-growth, high-potential startup starting bootstrapping its team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the backend infrastructure and services

Responsibilities 

  1. Bootstrap the team and rapidly bring the team up to speed.
  2. Provide leadership to a team of engineers building software and capabilities at scale, maintaining high engineering and quality standards.
  3. Spend 60% of your time architecting and developing the software. 
  4. Articulate and execute the requirements clearly with founders. 

Package - 12Lac+ per Annum

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors or Masters in computer science.
  2. At least 6+ years of software development experience in building highly scalable and performant systems
  3. Deep, hands-on programming and technical design skills with demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly.
  4. Strong coding, communication skills, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of backend development.
  5. Exposure to the backend technologies & languages such as Microservices Architecture, Java, GoLang, Python, NodeJS, Databases. 
  6. Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality.
