We are seeking an experienced L2/L3 Support Engineer (System/Solaris Administrator) to join our 24×7 operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure in the Banking, BFSI, or PSU sector, with strong technical expertise in Solaris, Linux, and UNIX environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for Solaris, Linux, and UNIX-based systems in a 24×7 production environment.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of system issues.
- Manage system administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Support critical applications and servers as per SLA requirements.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployment activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and security.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and support knowledge base.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and organizational policies.
- Provide on-call support during non-business hours as required.
Mandatory Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience working on similar projects as a System / Solaris Admin (L2 or L3) in:
- Public Sector Banks
- Private Banks
- BFSI Sector
- PSU Sector
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and mission-critical environments.
- Hands-on experience with server OS troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
Required Certifications
Candidates must possess the following (or equivalent) certifications:
- OEM-specific certification relevant to the proposed solution in the RFP (highest credibility required).
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting.
- Certified Specialist in UNIX Administration or any equivalent entry-level certification for other operating systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹800, ₹1,800,000.00 per month
