- The purpose of this role is to support the Vertical Lead in pre-bid quantity estimation.
- They are responsible for the collation of data to ensure accurate quantity estimates and rates across the in-scope Projects.
- They support the Vertical Lead in quantity calculations, query submission and analysing key areas of complexity by reading schedules, bid drawings and survey reports.
- They create the synopsis for the awarded projects by collating the estimations and keep a record of the cost of competitors in the bid.
- The role holder completes the assigned activities in the bid analysis and costing process.
- Bid Creation and Submission –
- Ensure timely and accurate pre-bid quantity estimates, rates and query submission under the guidance of the seniors.
- Provide support in reading technical schedules, drawings and survey reports to extract data for BOQ calculations.
- Maintain a record of all the bids that GRIL participates in along with maintaining the GRIL bid values vis-avis the competitor bid values.
- Submit the learning synopsis for all awarded projects to the senior management.
- Analyse the bid documents for key complexity areas and their impact on the project value
- Reporting –
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for the management teams.
- Maintain all MIS and reporting systems with accurate reporting of data.
- Ensure timely submission of the synopsis in pre-bid and post-bid stages and escalatein case of any process delays and deviation from SOPs.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with1-3 yearsexperience in Business Development
or
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 1 year experience in pre-bid quantity analysis
