Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled R2R Specialist with 5-9 years of experience in managing end-to-end Record to Report processes. The ideal candidate must hold a professional qualification and have experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Candidates with prior experience in process transitions from third-party service providers will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, or other applicable accounting standards.
  • Perform general ledger accounting, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Review and validate accounting transactions to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones to address financial reporting queries and issues.
  • Lead or support transitions of accounting processes from third-party service providers, ensuring knowledge transfer and process stabilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-9 years of experience in R2R, financial reporting, general ledger, or corporate accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, US GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a night shift environment and coordinate with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the outsourcing/shared services industry, with CA-CPT, CMA
  • Exposure to automation tools such as RPA, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
  • Experience in working with multinational companies (MNCs) or global accounting processes.
