We are hiring a Fire & Safety Officer for our plastic recycling facility to ensure strict compliance with fire safety standards and to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor fire & safety procedures specific to plastic recycling operations.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments, hazard identification, and periodic safety audits.
  • Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment (extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms).
  • Plan and conduct fire drills, mock evacuations, and safety awareness training for employees.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of flammable/recyclable materials.
  • Monitor plant operations for unsafe practices and enforce corrective measures.
  • Maintain fire safety records, compliance documents, and statutory reports.
  • Lead emergency response during fire alarms, incidents, or accidents.
  • Coordinate with local fire authorities and emergency services when required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Diploma/Certification in Fire & Safety (Certified Firemen preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of fire prevention systems, EHS regulations, and statutory compliance.
  • Ability to train staff and handle emergency situations effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Local candidates will be preferred.
  • Certified Firemen will be given priority.
