Job Title: Wood Cutter / Carpenter – Maternity Props & Studio Setup

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Wood Cutter / Carpenter to join our creative team at Soni Productions. The role involves designing, crafting, and assembling maternity photography props, furniture, and studio décor elements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry experience and a creative eye to help bring unique concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

• Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood to create custom maternity props (swings, cradles, backdrops, frames, etc.).
• Designing durable and safe structures suitable for maternity and newborn shoots.
• Repairing and maintaining existing props and studio furniture.
• Working closely with the photography & design team to execute creative ideas.
• Ensuring quality, finishing, and safety standards for all props.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter / Wood Cutter.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, machines, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to follow designs, drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Creative and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience in set design or furniture making.
• Basic painting, polishing, or decorative finishing skills.

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible depending on projects)

Salary: Based on experience (with opportunities for growth)
