
Restaurant Manager/ Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager/Restaurant Manager to join our team and assist in the smooth operations of our restaurant. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, efficient service, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the restaurant industry.
Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring all activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests, addressing and resolving any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Train, mentor, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel, to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate objectives, provide updates, and motivate team members.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to place orders for supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained while minimizing waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing and promotional activities to drive customer traffic and increase revenue.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new staff members, conducting interviews, and making recommendations to the Restaurant general Manager.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff, recognizing exceptional performance and addressing areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competition, making recommendations to enhance the restaurant's offerings and services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or managerial role is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control, and sanitation standards.
- Proven ability to handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional and efficient manner.
- Familiarity with restaurant software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
