Job Description
Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing features and functionality into an application or website, as well as maintaining its performance over time

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Be capable of independently owning individual projects while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise, resolving them promptly.
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of backend systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure fast and efficient system operation.
  • Develop automated tests to meet client requirements and enable regression testing.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, including database schema design and queries.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments relevant to backend development.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend systems and APIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Back End Engineer, with some professional experience
  • Knowledge of GIT or any other version control software
  • Knowledge of responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility
  • Extensive knowledge of fonts, embedding from third parties like Google, Typekit & Font Deck, etc
  • Solid understanding of web development, performance and accessibility standards, coding principles, tools, and best practices
  • Familiarity Passion and follow through for their work.
