The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Design and implement APIs and backend components
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshoot issues
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Work closely with QA, Product Managers, and other developers to deliver quality software
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC, and RESTful architecture
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Docker, AWS, or other cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to background jobs, caching, and performance optimization
