Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collections Manager based in Mumbai. The Collections Manager will oversee the collection processes, ensuring timely and effective debt recovery while adhering to compliance guidelines. Responsibilities include developing and implementing collection strategies, maintaining customer relationships, analyzing delinquent accounts, preparing reports, and monitoring team performance. Close collaboration with team members and other departments will be essential to optimize collections and resolve outstanding issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in developing and executing collections strategies and achieving recovery targets.
- Experience in managing customer relationships and addressing grievances with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong analytical skills for monitoring delinquency trends, preparing detailed reports, and implementing corrective actions.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities to oversee and guide a team of collection agents.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory guidelines concerning collections in the banking sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in banking, finance, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or certifications in finance or credit management are advantageous.
