We're seeking an entry-level AI Engineer to join our team building production AI agents and LLM-based applications. You'll apply your AI/ML foundation to develop intelligent systems, learning production AI engineering practices while working on real-world applications that leverage the latest LLM technologies.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement AI agents with tool calling, planning, and multi-step reasoning capabilities

• Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems using vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search

• Develop text-to-SQL solutions that accurately translate natural language into database queries

• Implement and optimize prompt engineering strategies for various use cases

• Work with LLM APIs and frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex) to build agent workflows

• Experiment with different agent architectures including ReAct, chain-of-thought, and autonomous patterns

• Create evaluation pipelines to measure AI system performance across accuracy, relevance, and reliability

• Integrate external tools and APIs into agent workflows through function calling

• Debug complex AI behaviors and implement guardrails for safe, reliable outputs

• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to translate requirements into AI solutions

• Stay current with the latest research and techniques in LLMs and agent systems

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field

• Strong programming skills in Python with solid software engineering fundamentals

• Coursework or projects in machine learning, natural language processing, or AI

• Understanding of LLM concepts including prompting, embeddings, and fine-tuning

• Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools (transformers, vector databases, etc.)

• Experience with or strong interest in building LLM-based applications or agents

• Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate and improve AI system performance

• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn

• Bonus: Personal projects using LLMs, research experience, contributions to AI open-source projects, or experience with SQL and database design
