Industry & Sector: Healthcare — Women's Health and Hospital Services. We provide high-quality maternal and gynaecological care through a busy clinical facility serving urban and suburban communities in Uttar Pradesh. The role is fully on-site at our Ghaziabad facility, providing hands-on patient care in labour room, wards and emergency settings.

Position

Primary title: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – Obstetrics & Gynaecology (On-site, Ghaziabad, UP)

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous on-site clinical care for antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum patients in the gynae/obstetrics department and labour room.
  • Assess and stabilise obstetric emergencies (e.g., PPH, eclampsia, obstructed labour) and coordinate timely escalation to senior consultants or OT.
  • Assist and support caesarean sections and supervised vaginal deliveries; prepare patients and maintain perioperative care standards.
  • Perform admissions, daily ward rounds, prescribe treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical records and discharge summaries.
  • Coordinate with nursing, anaesthesia, paediatric teams and diagnostic services to ensure seamless patient flow and newborn care.
  • Adhere to infection control, maternal safety protocols and participate in departmental audits, morbidity & mortality reviews and training sessions.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
  • MBBS with valid Indian medical registration (state/NMC) and eligibility to practice in India.
  • Proven clinical experience as RMO/house officer or in an obstetrics & gynaecology unit (recent experience in labour room/wards).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care including emergency stabilisation.
  • Hands-on experience assisting in caesarean sections and conducting supervised vaginal deliveries.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, on-call duties and emergency response in an on-site clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical documentation and familiarity with hospital protocols and basic EMR workflows.
Preferred
  • Certification or training in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Prior experience working in high-volume maternity units in North India or Ghaziabad region.
  • Exposure to emergency OT procedures and maternal critical-care pathways.
